Reading the Winter Woods – Animal Tracking, Winter Tree ID, Fire Making, Wild Tea

Join skilled naturalist and guide Tes Reed in the woods as we explore the winter landscape and

reveal the hidden stories of the wild. Together we will identify animal tracks and signs; learn

how to identify our trees and plants in their winter habitat; harvest some wild and medicinal

plants to brew a delicious and nutritious tea, learn how to make a one match community fire

and enjoy lunch around its warmth and light.
